Application of the RODEO pulse sequence in silicone imaging of breasts with silicone implants.
In a 1.5T magnetic field, the resonance frequency of silicone gel is approximately 60Hz different from that of fat. The frequency of the RODEO pulse sequence can be set at the resonance frequency of silicone gel , and a silicone gel inhibition image can be obtained to facilitate image interpretation.
